ADAS Calibration Services

If your vehicle's sensors require calibration, it's imperative that the Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS), like blind spot monitoring and collision avoidance, work as intended to keep you and other drivers safe. We stand by our work, and our limited lifetime nationwide warranty give you peace of mind when you get behind the wheel of your vehicle.

What is ADAS?

Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems, or ADAS, enable a vehicle to react to its surroundings and warn the driver of potential hazards. For the last 20 years, vehicles have become enhanced with important safety equipment such as sensors and/or cameras to aid drivers in reducing accidents like rear/front camera systems, lane-assist or blindspot monitoring.

Mobile auto glass repair and replacement

We know you have a busy life, so Caliber Auto Glass offers mobile glass repair and replacement services. Whether it's to your home, office or wherever is convenient for you. Having a clear and unimpaired view while driving is critical to your safety, but with vehicles equipped with Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) so are the safety systems of your vehicle. After a windshield replacement, your vehicle's safety systems and cameras need to be calibrated to the original manufacturer specifications to ensure they are operating properly. To calibrate ADAS to OE specifications, certain years, makes, and models require proper weight distribution, including having a full tank of fuel. If your vehicle and repair requires additional fuel to be added, you will be responsible for the added cost.

We’re committed to Restoring the Rhythm of Your Life® and following these manufacturer guidelines allows our team to complete diagnostic scanning and calibration of your vehicle’s safety systems back to the original manufacturer specifications.

Please note that not all ADAS safety systems can be calibrated, such as when vehicles have the following modifications: non-factory lift kits, lowering kits, modified tire size and wheels.

In many cases, such as those requiring “static” calibrations, mobile services are not recommended for several reasons:

  1. We need a level surface. Parking lots or driveways may be slanted or crowned to drain water; potholes, gravel and other issues may not allow “targets” to align properly to your vehicle
  2. Direct sunlight can cause shadows and confuse the calibration camera and targets
  3. Outdoor elements such as wind, clouds, rain or snow also may obstruct and interfere with the camera trying to calibrate to the target

Vehicles requiring Dynamic calibrations require technicians to drive customers' vehicles at certain speeds on clearly marked roadways to calibrate cameras. These may be possible to perform mobile, weather permitting.

We provide expert calibration services on ADAS features following vehicle manufacturers guidelines. Our service centers offer a proper indoor, controlled environment that is critical for procedures to be done correctly. Because keeping you and your family safe out on the road is our first priority.
