Complete ADAS Calibration

After an accident, our expert technicians perform an ADAS calibration check to confirm your vehicle’s safety sensors are calibrated before you get back on the road. If your vehicle’s safety sensors require calibration, we use Protech, one of the leaders in the calibration industry. It’s imperative that the advanced driver-safety systems, like blind spot monitoring and collision avoidance, work exactly as designed to keep you and other drivers safe. We stand by our work, and our limited lifetime warranty give you peace of mind when you get behind the wheel of your vehicle.

What is ADAS?

Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems, or ADAS, enable a vehicle to react to its surroundings and warn the driver of potential hazards. For the last 20 years, vehicles have become enhanced with important safety equipment such as sensors and/or cameras to aid drivers in reducing accidents like rear/front camera systems, lane-assist or blind spot monitoring. When our Caliber Collision experts repair your vehicle, the Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) need to be calibrated to the original manufacturer specifications to ensure they are operating properly. To calibrate ADAS to OE specifications, certain years, makes, and models require proper weight distribution, including having a full tank of fuel. If your vehicle and repair requires additional fuel to be added, you will be responsible for the added cost.

We’re committed to Restoring the Rhythm of Your Life® and following these manufacturer guidelines allows our partners at Protech Automotive Solutions to complete diagnostic scanning and calibration of your vehicle’s safety systems back to the original manufacturer specifications.

Please note that not all ADAS safety systems can be calibrated, such as when vehicles have the following modifications: non-factory lift kits, lowering kits, modified tire size and wheels.

Learn More About Calibration

Why is Windshield Calibration Needed after Windshield Replacement?

Calibrating your windshield properly after a replacement has a huge impact on the safety of your vehicle if you have ADAS features.

What is an ADAS Calibration?

ADAS stands for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems. The word calibration is frequently used in the collision repair industry today, but what does it really mean to calibrate something? To calibrate something means to teach it.

What Does it Mean to Calibrate a Windshield?

Calibrating a windshield has little to do with the glass itself. Your windshield may look like any other piece of glass, but it is anything but normal. Many people are surprised by the technology installed on many modern windshields.
