Caliber is Committed to Sustainability on Earth Day – and Every Day

If you've visited a Caliber center or spent time with Caliber teammates, you have heard us talk about our purpose, Restoring the Rhythm of Your Life®, and how we work toward delivering upon this purpose every day. What does that mean, though? Living our purpose means getting customers back on the road efficiently and safely with the highest standard of quality. It also means being a good steward in the communities that we serve through our Restoring You™ platform.

Restoring the Rhythm of Your Life® extends to minimizing our environmental impact while contributing positively to sustainability efforts that benefit our teammates, customers, partners and communities.

As the Caliber family of brands, including Caliber Collision, alongside Caliber Auto Care and Caliber Auto Glass, celebrate Earth Day, we recognize just a few of the ways that we have already implemented sustainable practices, including:

• Responsible Waste Stream Management by partnering with leading providers for solid and hazardous waste handling and disposal, including robust recycling and used oil, filters and solvent waste through a closed-loop recycling program
• Reducing Our Environmental Impact with a repair-first approach, enabled through our investments in equipment such as plastic welders, energy utilization management program, use of waterborne paint products, and retrofitting all of our centers with LED lighting by the end of 2024
• Providing Teammates with a Safe, Clean Workplace by providing state-of-the-art equipment such as Festool dust extraction systems, partnering with an independent environmental consulting firm and employing our own on-staff environmental experts, with a focus on continuous improvement in our environmental practices

In 2022 alone, these environmental practices helped avoid 970 metric tons (CO2 e) of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, equivalent to 2.3 million miles' worth of GHG emissions from passenger vehicles.
